Library of the Applied Arts
The Applied Arts Library is a modern library, always developing thanks to the collection of catalogues of current exhibitions and private donations, now becoming quite regular. Since its opening, the library has been part of the tour of the Casina delle Civette: users can complete their visit by consulting specific texts on the Casina delle Civette, about the subjects and decorative techniques contained inside and also by consulting the Braille catalogue.
The material kept in the Library is classified according to the Dewey descriptive theme and catalogued and inserted in the national library service, SBN7WEB, and in the computerised library catalogue, OPAC, to allow users to search and consult it.
During the days when the library is open to the public, the operators provide assistance to users, bibliographic indications and support to schools and teachers for consultation.
The library has a section dedicated to research and workshop work carried out by schools of all levels on the Casina delle Civette.
